These Hub's are no joke! bananas!
To celebrate the company’s 38th anniversary, California-based Phil Wood & Co. has announced a limited run of 3.5 Track hubsets in a range of colors, including one with gold plating. Only 100 sets have been put into production and are designed with a 3.5-inch flange and custom slotting. There will be 50 silver hubsets ($575/pair), 20 black ($605), 10 red ($655), 5 blue ($655), 5 green ($655), 5 purple ($655) and 5 gold plated ($900) a pair. These gold plated hubs are the highlight of the special edition. The limited edition hubs are meant for the European market only and they will bear a serial number. Accompanying the hub will be a stainless dog tag that bears the signature of the designer. These hubs will be released exclusively to bike shops on April 1, 2009.
